What styles do we teach?

We teach contemporary styles of music using the Rockschool syllabus. Rockschool has an exciting repertoire of popular songs from metal, rock, pop, blues, funk, reggae and much more.
We appreciate and encourage individuality and creative passion, so we are always open to suggestions and ideas. Students lead the way!

SNMS drum tutor Carlos has been an international touring drummer for the past 11 years. His knowledge and musical genius has taken him all over the world, and includes playing for BBC Maida Vale Studios, BBC Introducing stages, Mahogany & COVERS sessions and much more.

Attending drum lessons with SNMS is the best way to ensure a solid foundation in the art of percussion.
Our lessons are engaging for all ages, balancing theory and practise with plenty of fun and excitement! Starting as early as 6 years old, our tutors tailor their approach to suit the needs of each student, making sure that every lesson counts.
Firstly, we start with the basics and once students are confident, we encourage them to dance to the beat of their own drum! No dreams are discouraged here!
Whether playing in a band, touring the world, gaining a musical certificate (or all three!) SNMS helps to guide students to wherever they want to go.
